Volunteer

Volunteer with us.

Chef in the Garden is made possible through an extensive network of volunteers that are willing to share their time and talent, ensuring that each month students across BWP partner schools are successfully engaging students in garden-based culinary education activities.

Volunteer opportunities are available on an ongoing basis and offered monthly.

  • Monthly Education Support Volunteer - The education team meets 1-2 months prior to the release of the scheduled Chef in the Garden activity. BWP is looking for experts in STEM, culinary, garden and nutrition education to build a robust set of resources that compliment the video instructions provided in Chef in the Garden materials.

  • Monthly Packing Volunteer - Each month various items are packed to support classroom style learning kits. These kits are scaled to the size of the participating classroom and for ease on the on-site educator overseeing the culinary and garden activities.

  • Monthly School Delivery Volunteer - Each month packed classroom kits need to be delivered from BWP Headquarters to the participating school.
